Conducting Survey

IYS is an online only survey!

Registration opens in early September, 2025. Register anytime between early September 2025 and April 2026, allowing at least 2 weeks before your survey date to notify parents.
The survey opens in early January, 2026. Survey your students on the survey date you choose between early January and the end of your school year.
Survey user name and password are shared with registered schools approximately 1 month before their intended survey date.
Let us know when you are finished surveying—this starts the reporting process.
The results login will be sent to your school principal 4 to 6 weeks after you let us know you are finished.
The IYS is approved as an in-school survey . Do not administer the survey during remote learning or ask students to complete the survey from home.
